Overview

The Spark Referral Program incentivizes organic user growth by rewarding existing users who bring new investors to the platform. v1 establishes a simple, transparent mechanism tied directly to Spark's success fee.

How It Works

1. Generate a referral link. Every wallet connected to Spark can generate a unique referral link/code.
2. Apply a referral code. Any new or existing user can enter someone else's referral code on their account. Each account can only have one referrer (first come, first served, locked once applied).
3. Earn on success. When a referred user invests in an idea that succeeds, the referrer earns a share of Spark's success fee.

Fee Structure

• When an idea funded on Spark succeeds, Spark collects a 1% success fee on the outcome.
• For every investor in that idea who was referred by another user, 50% of the 1% fee generated by that referred investor's contribution goes to the referrer.
• The remaining 50% stays with Spark.

Example: Alice refers Bob. Bob invests 1,000 USDG in Idea X. Idea X succeeds. Spark's 1% fee on Bob's share = 10 USDG. Alice receives 50% = 5 USDG. Spark keeps the other 5 USDG.

Roadmap (Post v1)

• Credit system: referrers earn credits redeemable for platform perks (priority access, reduced fees, etc.)
• Tiered rewards: higher referral volume unlocks better splits or bonuses
• Gamification: leaderboards, milestones, badges
